Haven’t been here in a long time, mainly because I’ve been too busy working and paying bills. Anyway here’s my little update. This summer wasn’t as active as last summer, due to the fact I’m trying to pay off bills and save up for a car, I can’t take another winter without a car. I did manage to take a vacation, my first real vacation since I’ve been of working age. Me’ my girl and her boys went down to VA for a few days, it was great to get away from the city and my ghetto ass neighbors( more on them in another post) for awhile. It was fun relaxing and made me want to get out of the city even more, I love Philly and always will but living here isn’t fun anymore. Other than the trip it’s been business as usual hanging out with my girl here and there, going to movies, dinner and various LGBT events in the area. We went to her first gay pride march which was fun, she actually walked the whole way with no complaints. I was very surprised.
Besides the trip to VA and Gay Pride, I also went to my first Janet Jackson concert which was great! Anyone that knows me knows that I’m a huge Janet fan. The concert was the day after my birthday and that was my present to myself. Janet rocked every song, the only thing I regret is not having a better camera to take pics with, but I still had fun. I went with my sister Kira who is just a big a fan as I am, so we we’re in there trippin and having a good time. Next time I’ll be sure to get front row seats cant be playing middle row at a Janet concert. I also want to go to a Jill Scott concert and Erykah Badu concert, I love their music too. Other than that not much is new, still trying to maintain in this crazy ass world, dealing with bills, trying to save money for a car and to move, dealing with ppl at work and my moms house, and trying to maintain a peaceful and harmonious relationship which at times doesn’t always go that way. That’s another topic for another day and blog. Well, I’m off to bed it’s my day off tomorrow, hopefully I can enjoy it because lord knows it goes by so fast.
